Dr. Sailesh Chittipeddi is the Executive Vice President of Operations at Renesas Electronics. He is responsible for all its global internal and external manufacturing, including supply chain, procurement, and process, package and test platform development.
Previously at Renesas, he served as the Executive Vice President of the Embedded Processing and Digital Signal Chain Processing Solutions Group (formerly called the Industrial, Infrastructure and IoT Business Unit). He joined Renesas in 2019 and also serves as President of Renesas America.
Prior to joining Renesas, Dr. Chittipeddi also held numerous senior positions at other leading technology companies including IDT, Conexant Systems and AT&T Bell Labs. He has served on global public and private Boards, including Sequans Communications (NYSE:FR), Tessolve (India), Avalanche Technologies (India), Blu Wireless Technology (UK) and Peraso (Canada).
Dr. Chittipeddi holds an MBA from the University of Texas at Austin and a Ph.D. in Physics from The Ohio State University. He has 83 US semiconductor process, package, and design patents, and over 40 technical articles published.
